In 2010, Master Dental Technician Oliver Heinzmann worked with prototypes of the Fast & Fixed system on a patient case. The photograph of that work became internationally known: with more than 1.5 million publications, it shaped the bredent product catalogue for over a decade.

The case reflects a long specialisation: as early as 2009 Oliver Heinzmann was among the founding members of the ProFor competence team of the bredent group, and from 2011 to 2019 he lectured internationally on dental technology topics – including live demonstrations at the IDS and at the Sky Meeting.

For dental practices this means experience in implant prosthetics that ranges from the single crown to complex restoration of the edentulous jaw – with every step supervised personally.

Fixed restorations on implants

From the single crown on an implant to the screw-retained bridge: we manufacture superstructures digitally to the specifications of the treating practice – from ZrO₂, e.max (lithium disilicate), feldspathic ceramic as well as titanium and non-precious alloys, using exclusively tested, MDR-compliant materials.

Where a fixed bridge is not the right solution, implant-supported removable restorations give the denture stable retention and a high level of comfort. Which form of anchorage is suitable in the individual case is decided by the treating practice – we manufacture the matching construction:

Digitally manufactured in our own milling centre

Every superstructure is produced in house: designed in EXOCAD, manufactured on two 5-axis CNC machines and eight 3D printing systems – then completed by hand, CO₂-neutrally produced in our dental laboratory on the Bergstrasse.

Fit, material and schedule therefore stay in one pair of hands – from the intraoral scan or model through to the finished work.

What are implant-supported restorations and what are their advantages?

Implant-supported restorations are attached to artificial tooth roots – the implants. They offer a high level of comfort, a natural chewing function and stable retention. A further advantage: adjacent teeth usually do not need to be prepared and are therefore preserved. Heinzmann-Zahntechnik produces the matching prosthetic restoration precisely to the practice's specifications.

Which materials are suitable for implant prosthetics?

Depending on the indication, zirconium oxide, all-ceramic, titanium and high-quality polymers are used. The choice of material depends on position, load and aesthetic requirements. Heinzmann-Zahntechnik is a founding member of the ProFor network for implant prosthetics and agrees the appropriate solution closely with the treating dental practice.

What happens if an implant crown becomes loose?

If an implant crown becomes loose, the treating dental practice should be consulted promptly. In many cases the restoration can be checked and securely reattached. Please do not repair the crown yourself – the practice and the dental laboratory assess together which measure makes sense.
